Deborah Bradford is a Preacher, Psalmist, Writer, Mentor, Entrepreneur, and serves beside her husband, Senior Pastor Myron Bradford, as First Lady of New Jerusalem Baptist Church, McKinney, Texas. She is eloquent, articulate, and has been noted as one of the emerging voices called to the body of Christ for such a time as this.
After serving as a pianist for local churches for many years, Deborah accepted her call to preach in 1996, under the leadership of Pastor Jimmie Dixson, Greater Faith Baptist Church, Tulsa, OK; and in 1997, her family moved to Texas and became members of The Potter’s House Church of Dallas, Inc., under the leadership of Bishop T.D. Jakes, Sr. & Mrs. Serita Jakes. Deborah became a Licensed Minister with The Potter’s House in 2006; and an Ordained Elder in 2009.
Deborah served as the Executive Administrative Assistant to Mrs. Serita Jakes, and Program Director for the nationally acclaimed God’s Leading Ladies Life Enrichment Program, and the WoMan to Woman Starting Over Ministry; as well as Coordinator for multiple women’s events at The Potter’s House, prior to her call to full time ministry at New Jerusalem.
She is the co-founder of the Community C.A.R.E. Program, a non-profit organization that provides resources and economic empowerment for families, and communities in need. The couple began the program in 2006.
Deborah’s heart’s desire is to see lives changed and empowered by the word of God. She is the founder of In His Beauty Women’s Ministry, and is dedicated to helping women from all walks of life discover their true beauty, which she believes lies in their personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and the discovery of who He predestined them to be.
Deborah and Pastor Myron have been married for 35 years. They are the proud parents of four children and six grandchildren.
